The Department embraces the training and capacitation of human resources abled to answer national and international challenges in the development of sustainable animal production systems. Department’s faculty and staff embrace the teaching, research and continuing education programs in beef and dairy cattle, swine, sheep, goats, horses, fish and poultry, providing an eclectic infrastructure of laboratories, classrooms and offices to both undergraduate and graduate students.
